Currently I am nearing the end of my post graduate studies; a Professional Masters in Games Development at the University of Abertay Dundee .

In 2011 I graduated from BA (Hons) Computer Arts also here at Abertay where I have undertaken some great opportunities working as part of a design team on projects with major organisations such as the BBC, NCR and Tern TV.

I am most interested in Character Animation including the technical side- learning to model, rig and skin efficiently. I also enjoy drawing and working with Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects.

This site displays some examples of my work so far, please feel free to get in touch if you have any queries or advice.

Thanks

Marnie :]

Tern TV Photoshop Pieces

The first thing I worked on was an overall map of the world. I put in a lot of research into the highest mountains in Scotland to see roughly where the Drylands would be situated, also each Parish is named after a Scottish town so I made a google map of where they were to see if I could use this in the final map, here is a snap of the google map.

Using this i created a "But n Ben A-Go-Go" Map.

On meeting the author Matthew, he gave me a map that he had worked out during writing the book-

The Parishes are much closer together in the Greenock area so I remade the map to suit, however some of the team prefered the parishes being further apart so i took both forward for 3D.

Here you can see some concepts I created in Photoshop.
